Oracle did load testing on a 2 CPU Intel Pentium III 1.26 GHz machine with 4GB RAM, running the Linux Operating System version 2.4.9-e.57smp. Our testing included a mix of interactions among different user types, and the system was able to accommodate well over 1,000 users without performance degradation.
