How many units does APT have?
APT currently has 13 ALS ambulances, which is approximately half the number of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue’s fleet but approximately twice the number of Clay, Nassau and St. John’s County’s units. Six of APT’s ambulances are special cardiac units, designed with added equipment to transport patients with heart concerns to advanced medical care. APT also has four wheelchair/strecther vehicles used for patient transport.
