How many UALR students drink?
• 26% are nondrinkers • 27% have 2 or less drinks when they drink • 45% had not had a drink in the past 30 days • 25% of students had engaged in binge drinking (75% had not) in the previous 2 weeks (binge drinking was defined as having 5 or more drinks at one sitting) These statistics concerning drinking behavior among UALR students were compiled by the Core Drug and Alchohol Survey that was administered in April, 1999 and the CARDD Survey that was administered in November, 1999.
