How many types of venomous snakes are there in Australia?
It is probably easier to ask which ones aren’t venomous. Australia has a wide variety of snakes and a lot of them are venomous to some degree. I think seven of the top ten in the world are over here, the worst being the Fierce snake or Inland Taipan. You usually will not survive a bite from this snake. They are called the Fierce snake for a reason.
