A. There are several categories of sealers for concrete. Many silanes are toxic, flammable and hazardous, as they are solvent based. Many siloxanes are toxic, flammable and hazardous, as they are solvent based. Parafins are usually mineral spirits, toxic, flammable and hazardous. Most water based products, such as CO-MA-SEAL, are safe, non-flammable, non-toxic and non-hazardous.
