How many trees does it take to make one ream of laser printer paper?

0

Every 2,000 pounds of paper takes 17 to 20 trees to make. The paper should have a “cut” on it. It is usually a 20 pound cut. The ream does not weigh 20 pounds but that is the cut of wood the paper is made from. So clearly 100 reams saves 17 to 20 trees and one ream, if my math is correct uses up 0.17 to 0.2 of one tree, two tenths of a tree.
