How many treatments will be necessary to remove sunspots or a pigmented lesion?
These areas are treated similar to tattoo removal. Usually 1-3 treatments are sufficient to entirely remove the pigment. Cafe au lait birthmarks require more frequent sessions. The treated areas temporarily darkens after treatment. Over the next 7 to 10 days the treated skin will slough off leaving new unblemished skin.
