How many trains pass through Fraser daily?

It varies from between 15 to 30 trains per day and they do run 24 hours a day! They are required by law to sound their horn at grade crossings. The majority are coal trains from the Energy and Apex mines near Steamboat Springs, CO. Two are Amtrak’s east and westbound California Zephyr, which has its termini in Chicago and San Francisco. (See the above information on Amtrak.) The remainder are mixed merchandise trains and the occasional track repair train.
