How many traditionally under-served students are there at Dartmouth?

Currently the student body is 48% female and 52% male. Students of color comprise of 32% of the Class of 2007: 8% Black 14% Asian American, 6% Latino, and 4% Native American. An additional 6% are international students. We don’t really know exactly how may Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender students are on campus. If we apply the commonly accepted idea that at least 10% of the population is LGBT, then we would have around 420 LGBT undergraduate students.
