How many tonnes of dried distillers grain with solubles (DDGS) does Husky’s ethanol plants produce and what is it used for?
At full capacity each plant can produce 130,000 tonnes of dried distillers grain with solubles annually. In total Husky’s two plants have the capacity to produce a total of 260,000 tonnes annually. DDGS produced by Husky is used as an alternative, non-animal based, high protein feed supplement in dairy, hog, poultry and feedlot operations.
