How many tins of Alphabetti Spaghetti would it take to transcribe James Joyces Ulysses in pasta?
You’d probably get the title out of one tin … but my paperback copy of this book is over 700 pages and you’d probably need to reckon on an average of six tins per page to obtain the right combination of letters required. Trying to purchase this amount of the yucky stuff from Tesco could result in a rush of Alphabetti Spaghetti panic buying among customers who witness the spectacle of you loading up your trolley with said foodstuff. I’d advise you to think about one of Joyce’s shorter books, say, “A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man” or maybe “Dubliners” to avoid any such risk.
