How many times was the Balkans Support Contract extended?
Three times. The first extension, May 28, 2004, through November 23, 2004, occurred under a standard Federal Acquisition Regulation clause included in the Balkans Support Contract, Option to Extend Services. This clause allowed for the period of performance to be extended for no more than six months.
