How many times is Tigris & Euphrates mentioned in the Bible?
in the Bible the Tigris is mentioned with the Euphrates and two other streams as rivers that watered the Garden of Eden (Gen 2:14). While standing on the bank of the Tigris, Daniel saw the vision he subsequently recorded (Dan 10:4) The Euphrates is frequently referred to in the OT, as “the river,” “the great river” — it was the largest river with which Israel was acquainted, in contrast to the soon dried up torrents of Palestine (Gen 15:18; Deut 1:7; Isa 8:7).
