How many times does a person have to make false statements to the police before they are arrested ?
If the said false statements are locking up villains whom the fuzz have been unable to get a handle on, I don’t see such a person being arrested for a long time. So long as it suits the fuzz I mean. You know the sort of person! He’s running a prostitution, sex-slave and drugs racket in your town, but you just cannot get a handle on this person. He’s more slippery than an eel. Then out of nowhere comes a “white knight” who is able to finger the villain and supply ‘proof’ that it was him what ‘dunnit’. It may not be exactly justice, but it puts the villain(s) behind bars.
