How many time we can use Purell daily ?
On the Purell website it says:
"Purell® products can be used to disinfect hands whenever they are not visibly soiled and can be used repeatedly. There is no need to wash hands between uses, unless they become visibly soiled or come in contact with bloodborne pathogens or body fluids." Source
Logically, you should be able to use Purell as many times as you feel it is necessary. Your hands are exposed to germs multiple times throughout the day, so Purell will kill 99.99% of all germs each time you disinfect.
If you use Purell 3 times in a row you will not be successfully killing any additional germs because of the small percentage. However, there is no limit to how often you can use it throughout the day as long as your hands are neither soiled nor exposed to bodily fluids. In fact, when you are around sick adults and children, disinfect your hands as often as possible.
Keep in mind, it is not a substitute for washing your hands. However, it is good to use Purell in between washings for extra disinfecting.
