How many testing areas are in the new test?
There are still five discreet tests: Writing Skills has been renamed Language Arts, Writing; Interpreting Literature and the Arts has been renamed Language Arts, Reading; Social Studies; Science; and Mathematics. • Q: What can you tell me about the changes to the Writing Skills test? The essay scoring-rubric changes from a 6-point scale to a 4-point scale (1=inadequate; 2=marginal; 3-adequate; 4=effective).
