How many teeth can ClearMatch analyze at one time?
With todays higher resolution cameras, you can photograph just four teeth but it would be better to take a picture of all the teeth, from corner to corner of the patient’s mouth. This will allow the technician to see the patient’s hypocalcified teeth, staining as well as shape and character. The teeth that are evenly lit by the camera’s flash can be individually analyzed. Attempt to shoot directly toward the tooth to be analyzed. For the dentist, please take the picture prior to prep so the teeth are hydrated and not dry. When wanting a shade of tooth #10, do you want it to match #9 or would it be better to match #7? This is something to think about.
