You can create as many tasks as you like in a Matlab distributed job – but, because there are only 8 Distributed Computing Engine licenses available on Eddie, only up to 8 tasks will be processed in parallel. Further tasks will wait in the queue until current Matlab jobs complete and free up licenses.
