• If purchasing “registered” pigs, ask if the breeder has the registration documents. For Large Black piglets you should receive a Litter Certificate at time of purchase. You then go online & enter the details on the LBHA website, send in your pyament & the official registration document will be processed & sent to you. For GOS piglets, you should receive the official Registration paper at time of purchase although many times you will have to wait, depending on how backlogged the Registrar is. Once you have the official document you will need to fill out a transfer form (available online) & send both forms off to the Registrar with the approgpriate fee .If the Registration is not available at time of purchase please makje sure you are given copies of the parents registrations with the promise of the papers being forwarded as soon as they are received by the breeder. For Red Wattle piglets you should receive a Registration application at time of purchase filled in partly by the breeder
