How many supervised driving hours must I do outside of my required drivers education course to get my drivers license?
In addition to the driving practice you will do in your state-approved drivers education course, you also need to complete at least 40 hours of driving practice (10 of which must be at night) outside of class. These hours must be supervised by your parents or legal guardians or by a licensed South Carolina driver who’s at least 21 years old whom your parents or legal guardians approve of.
