How many students transfer from the MSc program to the PhD?
Students enrolled in the MSc program for at least a year may seek to transfer to the PhD program. Transfer normally occurs between 12 and 24 months after your initial registration in the MSc program. To transfer, students must have completed two half graduate courses with an overall average of B+ or better. Approximately 1/3 of students in the MSc program proceed to the PhD program without completing a Master’s thesis.
