How many students does each flight instructor have?
The ratio is 1.5 accelerated students per flight instructor at any given time so practically speaking, each instructor will have either 1 or 2 accelerated students that they will be working with at any given time. While the instructor is flying with one student, the other student is studying his/her ground lab, preparing for their next flight lesson. Each student can expect to have two flights and two ground labs per day.
We try hard to keep the ratio at 1 accelerated pilot trainee per flight instructor at any given time, but we all know, it’s not a perfect world, so sometimes, there may be an overlap between the last student and the next. That will not present a problem for you however because the instructor has sufficient time for personal attention even if he/she is working with 2 students at a time.
