How many students are in the NIH Intramural MD/PhD Partnership?
As of 2007, there are 36 students in the NIH Intramural MD/PhD Partnership attending 21 different medical schools. 26 students are funded for medical school through the intramural MSTP. 29 students are in the NIH-Oxford or NIH-Cambridge partnership Ph.D. programs (including 5 Marshall or Rhodes Scholars) and the rest are in individual Ph.D. partnerships with their medical schools. We expect to admit approximately 10 new students a year from external and internal (current GPP student) applicant pools.
