How many students are enrolled with you for PhD/ M.Phil?
Dr. Iqbal: We have one of the largest research groups in Pakistan. Currently over 45 registered Ph.D./M. Phil. students, post-doctoral fellows, 6 research assistants and three research officers are working under the joint supervision of Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman and myself. This is a very strong group with expertise in chemistry, spectroscopy, biochemistry, plant biotechnology, tropical diseases, and synthetic organic chemistry. We also have the greatest advantage of learning from Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman. Undoubtedly Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman has played the most important role in my life. He guided me for 17 long years and shaped me into what I am today (Alhamad Ullah). He is my role model, guide, big brother and patron. What are your Pass Time/ Hobbies? Dr. Iqbal: Working at the HEJ Research Institute is a full time affair. We work 25 hours everyday. Yes this is true.
