How many student beds are there now and would there be in future?

A key point of the new development is to maximise the number of new bed spaces provided. At present, there are 690 beds in four buildings within the Gardens: 364 of these are in the existing Southside and 180 in Linstead Hall. The remaining beds are made up of 64 in Weeks Hall and 82 in Garden Hall, Prince’s Gardens. Our goal is to increase the student accommodation to 875 (excluding wardens) on the South and East sides of the square. There will be six wardens and 24 sub wardens within the accommodation.
