• Select wood face for grain pattern and general appeal Cut board substrate and board bottom to approximate size based on the size of wood face Glue board face to the substrate material Glue board bottom to the substrate material Scrape excess glue off Do final trimming off all 4 board sides Cut inlay point separators Glue inlay point separators Cut and glue inner border Miter cut and glue outer border Screw cribbage template to board and drill peg holes Do heavy-duty cleanup sanding (80x) on board face and bottom Drill peg holder hole and tap threads for peg holder cap Hand sand through the following grits: (80x, 120x, 180x, 220x, 320x) Apply 2 coats of sanding sealer to the board face. Apply the 3 types of waxes to the board and buff out each. Apply 2-3 coats of Poly to the board face.
