How many step pads are on nerf bars for my truck or SUV?
Most nerf bars feature a step pad beneath each seating row. The typical SUV nerf bar will have 2 step pads per bar. Trucks are a slightly different situation. In general, standard cab trucks will have 1 step pad, extended cabs 1, large extended cabs and crew cabs 2, and quad cabs 2. Wheel-to-wheel and dually nerf bars have an extra pad at the rear wheel well.
