As many as 67 per cent of students do not know basic details of the country. Pity is, 62 per cent of them do not even know how many districts are there in the State and which city is its capital. Awareness about Barack Obama, Chiranjeevi and Ricky Ponting was noticed in Agency areas that are a little closer to the world at large. For instance, students in Seethampet and Srikakulam Agency areas are more enlightened than the others and are aware of the history created by Obama and the cricket star.
