How many star wars films are there altogether?
There are 6 live action movies and 1 animated full length feature movie that was basically the “pilot episode” for the Clone Wars animated series that is running on the Cartoon Network right now. There was also another animated series that ran on the Cartoon Network in late 2003 & early 2004. That series was the Clone Wars Micro Series. There is an Ewoks movie a Holiday Special movie and a couple other god awful little things that were so horrid that they really aren’t worth mentioning. What you saw on Wookipedia was in reference to the Star Wars EU (Expanded Universe of books). There are books and Dark Horse comic (don’t bother with the Marvel Comics titles as they were beyond forgettable for the most part) series that take the story about 140 years past the events of ep VI as it stands now and about 5000 years and more before the events of ep I.
