As of November 6, 2009, there were 197,999,999 ordinary shares outstanding (including shares represented by ADSs). The Norwegian holdings represented 80,942,578 shares, or approximately 41% of the total number of our shares outstanding, the UK holdings represented 39,625,904 shares, or approximately 20% of the total numbers of our shares outsanding and the US holdings represented 37,406,950 shares, or approximately 19% of the total number of our shares as of that date.
As of March 9, 2011, there were 217,799,997 ordinary shares outstanding (including shares represented by ADSs). The Norwegian holdings represented 74,410,027 shares, or approximately 34% of the total number of our shares outstanding, the US holdings represented 46,632,337 shares, or approximately 21% of the total numbers of our shares outsanding and the UK holdings represented 29,161,812 shares, or approximately 13% of the total number of our shares as of that date.
