How many scientists do you expect will be using the TeraGrid in 2009, the year funding runs out?
We anticipate that 3,000 to 4,000 scientists will use TeraGrid directly — that is, developing applications and logging into the systems. In addition, we anticipate 7,000 to 10,000 educators and students will use TeraGrid through Science Gateways — that is, through specific tools and applications provided by Science Gateway partners.
