How many scenic rivers are there in Missouri?
Well, literally there are many scenic rivers in Missouri, but this site revolves around “nationally protected” scenic rivers. Therefore, this narrows the long list of Missouri possible contenders to just 3 Missouri rivers. One, the Eleven Point River, is a Wild and Scenic River established in 1968 managed by the U.S. Forest Service and the other two, the Current River and its tributary the Jacks Fork, are Ozark National Scenic Riverways established in 1964 managed by the National Park Service.
