Good Samaritan Hospital has two robotic-assisted surgery systems, the standard da Vinci Surgical System and the da Vinci S Surgical System. The hospital purchased its first da Vinci Surgical System in February 2003 with generous support from Pam and Rob Sibcy, Claire Phillips and the Castellini Foundation. In 2005, Good Samaritan received the third da Vinci S Surgical System in the world. Its acquisition was made possible by generous donations from the Western Southern Financial Fund, Claire Phillips, the Castellini Foundation, the Ohio National Financial Foundation, Turner Construction and Baker Concrete Construction Inc.
