A. Microsoft has informed us that there are only three such vendors in North America. Of those three, Total Computer Group is the only one on the United States East Coast. Most of the systems on the market today are based on older technology and some legacy applications still exist. For us, coming to this market later is an advantage, because we built our software on the very latest technology available, while including all the functionality of the legacy systems. We applied the knowledge and mistakes of those legacy vendors as we developed Total Enforcement. Most other vendors have to update their technology at some point very soon because Microsoft has indicated it will no longer support legacy development software such as Visual FoxPro beyond its Version 9.
