How many residential stands, lodges, wildlife estates are planned?
On the initial 5,200 hectares the following will be allowed: • A 120 romm Resort Hotel utilizing the Founder Suites as primary accommodation • 140 golf lodges on the Player Brothers Biosphere Golf Course • 60 bush lodges in the Biosphere Reserve • 280 individual Erven of a minimum size of 4,000 sqm on the Biosphere Reserve • 65 wildlife estates (30 on Newburg and 35 on Hoogland) • 40 Valley lodges on Abakhosi • 46 individual Erven on Abakhosi • 60 Wilderness lodges on Hoogland • 101 Wilderness estates on Hoogland
On the initial 6,300 hectares the following will be allowed: • A 65 suite resort hotel on Waterberg • The 5 star Shakama Lodge with a potential of 20 suites • The Elements hotel with its approved 29 rooms • 241 individual stands on Elements • 67 Lodge Units on Elements with a potential to add 30 additional lodges • 357 Individual erven on Waterberg • 53 Wildlife Estates on Waterberg • 250 Bush/Golf Lodges on Waterberg • 29 Valley Estates on Shakama • An additional number of lodges and freehold stands on Waterberg have been approved in terms of the general plan and at this stage it is not envisaged that these will be developed. The developer retains the right to develop these properties at some time in the future.
