How many Resident Advisers (RA’s) and Resident Mentors (RM’s) are on each floor?
There are 19 RA’s and 10-13 RM’s between the two buildings. Tucker and Owen have three RA’s and two RM’s per floor, except on the Owen Basement, which has one RA and one RM on the floor. Both the RA and the RM help build community, support students’ academic pursuits, and serve as campus and personal resources. These positions are highly competitive and well-respected. The RA and RM return early each semester to participate in paraprofessional training in preparation for the students’ return. RM’s serve as Teaching Assistants in select sections of USC 101 and 102 to provide additional support and service to FYC students.
