Fourteen regional water planning groups have chosen to recommend water reuse as a water management strategy in their 2006 plans. Only regions J and P did not recommend water use as a strategy. Collectively, the 14 planning groups project to have available about 1.3 million acre-feet of additional water by the year 2060.
