How many quarts of oil for a 95 wrangler?

There are 2 possible engines from the factory for this year Wrangler. The 4 cylinder I think takes 4 quarts or maybe 4+ with a filter. The 4.0L 6 cylinder takes 6 quarts. What I usually do is add 5 1/2 then drive for a day or 2 & recheck then add to full or close.
