How many Providers are in the BioAssayLINK database?
A. This is a time dependent question. As BioAssayLINK is a new service (launched on September 26, 2006) clearly it is not possible to have a comprehensive database overnight. It is likely to take a significant amount of time before BioAssayLINK has details of all possible Providers (there are more than 130,000 of them globally). Clearly those Providers within the BioAssayLINK database will be provided to those Seekers requesting their bioassay capabilities. As at 19 August 2007, there are in excess of 400 capabilities in the database and it is increasing considerably.
