The PIPS projects are for implementing safe practice interventions not for evaluation projects. The project requirements include the submission of an evaluation plan which should focus on the performance of the implementation of the safe practice intervention. AHRQ does not have any recommendations on the kinds of evaluation to be used in the projects, but suggests applicants focus on finding an evaluation that is appropriate for the proposed project.
