All Lifeline Cables are color-coded, with each color representing a different amount of resistance. As a rule, when the Cable is stretched to twice its normal length, the following list applies: • R1 Teal – 10 lbs • R2 Purple – 20 lbs • R3 Pink – 30 lbs • R4 Magenta – 40 lbs The variable resistance tubing (cable) has a tensile strength of 3000 lbs PSI but, the strength integrity of the tubing is only maintained when the tubing is free of cuts, nicks, burn marks, etc. It is important to examine the cable before each workout to be sure no imperfections have developed. The cables are color coded to identify the strength level. Moving from weakest to strongest the strength level is as follows: R-1 Teal, R-2 Purple, R-3 Pink, R-4 Magenta, R-5 Orange, R-6 Red, R-7 Yellow, R-8 Green, R-9 Blue, and R-10 Black Lifeline exercise tubing (cables) are covered by the Lifeline Lifetime Warranty.
