How many positions can the GPS Cube GPS datalogger store ?
The GPS Cube ships with 256K of memory as standard for logging data, but it supports selection of the data to be logged which varies the amount of memory consumed. For example storing just the time and position takes 25 bytes and therefore allows over 10,000 points to be stored. The GPS Wedge software shows how much memory each logged entry will take when a trigger is defined. Careful configuration of triggers allows extended periods of logging to occur because for example you may have one trigger that logs a position every hour, while another trigger logs every time the vehicle has moved over 100 meters to give good GPS tracking without using unnecessary memory while the vehicle being tracked is stationary.
