How many points will be required to acquire PR in Australia in 2009?
To acquire PR, the applicant must attain a score of 120 points and minimum study period in Australia of 2 yrs. There may be instances where applicant may have to work for a further 2 yrs, in the vocational course that they have graduated from prior to full PR being granted. A “bridging visa” will be issued to the applicant to allow them to live and work in Australia during this working period.
