How many points must I earn each semester to be considered an active member?
New SOTA members are required to make 15 points during their first semester as a member. The following semesters, members are only required to make 10 points to maintain membership in the association. As an additional incentive for member participation, the top point earners will be awarded prizes once point tallies are complete. Don’t worry, there are many opportunities during the semester to earn points including participation in community service activities, special events, canned food drives, attending meetings, bake sales, t-shirt purchases, photos etc. To inquire about your current point status, please email the SOTA secretary, Lori Tucker at loritucker2@hotmail.com .
