In regulation volleyball there are 6 players on each team. However, if you just want to have fun, you can do any number against any number. I’ve played anything from 8 on 8s (where we rotated players) to 2 on 1s (when the lone person would get to hit the ball 3 times by himself).

there can be as many as you want on a team but only 6 can be on the court at one time…i suggest 12 players per team in case one or two people cant make it.
