How many players do arsenal need to buy in the winter….?
Firstly, there is no depth in the arsenal team whatsoever. More to your point, i don’t think it is a matter of how many Arsenal sign in the winter, but what quality you can sign. In my view, Arsenal will need a world class holding midfielder to sit in front of the back four. There is also room for a natural left winger, assuming Theo Walcott is playing on the right wing. Also, despite the number of forwards you have, i feel that there is the need to sign a player that can play off of Adebayor, just like Defoe can play off of Crouch at Portsmouth, and Rooney playing off of Heskey for the national side. The January transfer window will be a crucial time for Arsene Wenger, and i think the time has come when he has to open his wallet and splash the cash! I think that in excess of 5 players need to be purchased.
