How many phone numbers are expected to be on the National list?
The FTC has estimated that about 68 million consumer phone numbers will be on the list after one year. This number represents 40 percent of all residential phone numbers in the United States. The FTC allows each consumer to register up to three separate numbers at a time through its web site, including wireless phone numbers.
