How many persons to set up a corporation and what is the minimum capital required?

0

Two or more persons may establish a local corporation known as “Sociedad AnĂ³nima” (stock company) in the Republic of Panama. Corporate law does not require any minimum paid-in capital. Bearer shares are also permitted. A single person or a corporation may own all shares. Under Corporations law, every corporation must file the articles of incorporation (pacto social), incorporated by a public deed before a Panamanian Notary. The public deed must then be registered in the Mercantile Section at the Public Registry.
