How many people were killed in the Washington DC train crash?”
At least nine people have died following a collision between two Metro trains in Washington DC last night. Officials say one of the trains smashed into the back of the other at the height of yesterday evening’s rush hour. The trailing train jack-knifed into the air and fell on top of the other one. More than 70 people were taken to hospital after the collision, including six who were in a critical condition. The accident was the first fatal crash on the Washington DC Metro since 1982, when three people died in a derailment.
