Three Marshall Islands residents were killed early Sunday morning in an accident caused by an suspected drunk driver. Others remain hospitalized from the accident which occured about 4 am in Majuro. A car coming into town from Laura Village failed to negotiate a curve in the road and slammed into the other car. Two young men in this car died. The driver of the other car, a young woman, died a few hours after the accident. Police said they found beer cans in the car, and the accident was allegedly caused by drunk driving, according to Giff Johnson who sent the breaking news to Yokwe Online. Five commuters were killed and 277 injured in a horrific 200-vehicle pileup between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the early hours of Tuesday, according a police statement issued to official news agency WAM. Police blamed poor visibility due to fog and careless driving to be the cause of the accident. 130 injured were taken to Al Mafrak Hospital in Abu Dhabi hospital.
